My band, Aperco

Postby SteelBreeze » 20 Apr 2016, 15:18

Hello fellas! In the last year I've got a chance to be keyboardist for the local Tel-Avivian band, Aperco. We play original Prog-Rock music. We launched our debut album, "The Battle" earlier this month in a sold-out gig in front of 1000 people (Every show before was sold out too, and it's only our 7th gig!). We are a relatively new band, but luckily we got many radio time, and in next month we'll open up for Deep Purple in Rishon-Letzion.
In the album, Tal Maizel, is the keyboard player. I'm his successor, for the live gigs and the future albums to come. Attached here, my live rig.
Without further ado, here are some songs from "The Battle". Hope you'll enjoy!

Awaken

Focused

Dissonant Sound Within

And last but not least, our Facebook page.

It is really some nice tunes. Pink Floydish, but in an adult way, so to speak. I am on this page to gain knowledge about the Nord cause I might need an DP for recordings.
I see you were not the one to play the piano on these recordings and the piano in Awaken sounds very digital. Is your experience that it could have been so it sounded more realistic or is this pretty much Nord?

Wow, sorry for a long time and bumping a rather old topic. I wasn't around the forums for a few years. Indeed, the band knows that if had I been the keyboardist, everything would have been done less MIDI-fied. In Live, the Nord Piano sounds make the intro sound far more lively, as I play it not 100% quantized like on a DAW.
Hope that answers your question!
