Hi guys,
just bought a used NL2X and i experience something i don't understand yet.
Many of the patches have an "vibrato" which are not created by the LFOs.
Actually it sounds like a sine LFO applied to pitch but its not coming from LFO.
Speed of vibrato raises with higher notes (by saying speed i mean "LFO Rate", if it would come from LFO).
After testing all knobs, i finally figured it vanishes by moving OSC1 / OSC2 Mix Poti to either left or right end (effetively muting 1 one of the 2 oscilators).
But well, sound is very much destroyed then.
Turning "FM amount" to zero does not help.
Does anyone know what might be the cause of this and how to create a vibrato-free sound with both oscillators active?

Re: nord lead 2x need help with unwanted "vibrato"
What you hear is the effect of OSC detune (i.e. small tuning difference of OSC2 vs base pitch of OSC1, the related setting is OSC2 Fine Tune) which is widely used in analog synthesis to give some "motion" to the sound.
If you wish to know better how your NL2x synthesis chain works, and sound synthesis in general, I recommend reading its manual (incl. chapter 11 on Synthesis basics) and/or the famous SOS Synth Secrets articles https://www.soundonsound.com/series/synth-secrets
