"Compare" function when editing a program ?

Post by Projet Xion »

Hi all,

I would like to know if a "compare" function is available when you are editing a sound on the NP4.

When I modify a program I would like to hear the original one in order to compare before saving.

I didn't find again a way to do that.

the only way would be to save as a separate program and switch between old and new.
Current Gear: NS3C, Alesis QS6.1, QS7.1 & QS8.2, Hammond B3 with Leslie 122, Yamaha CP70, Yamaha C3 6' Grand, Roland D-05, Roland AX-Edge, Waldorf Blofeld Keyboard, Behringer Arp Odyssey

Yes or to save as a live mode.
But a dedicated function would be more convenient.

If the Stage 3 Program View tool (nord-stage-forum-f3/ns3-program-viewer-t19939.html) will be ever expanded by its authors to the Piano 4, then this could be a way of comparing Programs.

But this won't tell you how it sounds, it would only show you that some parameter is different.
