Vox/Farfisa Library for C2 - Less programs than for Electro

Post by RevvDon »

Just bought a C2 a couple of weeks ago and love it. One of the reasons I bought was for the combo organ sounds. Mistakenly, I first downloaded the Vox/Farfisa library for the Electro 3. When I downloaded the Vox/Farfisa library for the C2, I was disappointed that it consisted of far less programs than the same library for the Electro 3. Are the other sounds in the Electro 3 library in the factory programs of the C2 under different names? Does anyone know if there are any plans for Nord to release the other Barry Carson programs in C2 format? If not, would it be possible to at least get the Vox drawbar settings or Farfisa tab settings for these other sounds?
Thanks,
Don

Hello RevvDon,
Welcome to the forums.
The Barry Carson Vox/ Farfisa programs are available for the C2
You can find them on this page of the Clavia website:
http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?t ... sa_Library

However, I transcribed the settings and recorded them in an excel spreadsheet.
For those that simply want the settings.
You'll find them in this post:

Cheers, Hanon

Hi RevvDon,
I think the Electro 3 version should be exactly the same parameters, and settings as the C2 and C2D.
It was just the old Stage Ex that was different.

Actually, I just checked the Clavia website, and they're available for the C2

Thanks. Yes I know they have programs for the C2, but only 11 of them vs 39 for the Electro 3, which is kind of disappointing considering the C2 is primarily for organ.
Thanks,
Don

Ahh, I didn't know that.
Well all of them are in the spreadsheet.
Just be sure to use the one for the Electro instead of the Stage Ex.
