Forum improvement ideas

Post by fbachmann »

Hi folks, thought I'd open a topic for improvement ideas *for this forum* (not for Clavia / Nord).

Let me start with one:

Last Post Title
@forumadmin: can you please add the title of the last post in the column "Last post" on the topic list page, this would make life much easier for many occasional users who don't want to subscribe to notifications.
Some pointers here: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=2288166 (but I don't know which version of phpBB this is, sorry).

Thanks in advance, François

Hi Francois,

you happend to post your initiative 3 times. You probably will have found out already!

As long as I'm frequently visiting the forum, I use the (View new posts) link on the main page. Which gives a perfect overview.

What I'd appreciate to have is the possibility to delete my last post as long as there is no response yet. For example if you accidentally post multiple times or the same as someone else.

Btw: Thanks to Johannes for all improvements and maintenance labour!!! Great place here.

If you click on New or Unread in the the main menu you get a list with the title of the thread (left column) and the author (right column). Is that what you wanted?
