Hi,
I'm using my Nord Lead 3 as a midi controller with Mainstage. It's all working but I'm looking for a way to use the NL3 to change patches on Mainstage without using the MacBook to switch.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Using Nord Lead 3 to patch change in Mainstage
Set the Program Change parameter on the NL3 to either Send or Send&Receive.
Then, from the manual:
• When you load a Program in a Slot, a Program Change message is transmitted via MIDI on the Slot’s MIDI Channel.
• When you select a Performance, a Program Change message is transmitted on the Global MIDI Channel.
You can't specify a particular Program Change, it will send the Program Change associated with that Program or Performance's location. So to have recall of that Nord Program/Performance also invoke the Mainstage patch you want, you'll have to change things on the Mainstage side to make sure the desired Mainstage Patch is called up when you call up that particular Nord Program/Performance, and that it's responsing on the appropriate MIDI channel.
