I love having the built in effects on the NE5, there are some great sounding ones in here. This was a selling point for me, no doubt, since I can save $ on pedals. However, I am still searching for a dry/wet or amount control on the chorus and tremolo effects. Normally, I would have given up on this since I am finding zilch, but at the same time, there's no way a 2 grand keyboard does not have dry wet for the chorus effect...right? I could pick up a used yamaha mx for $400 and have all that no question!
At the very least does anyone have a workaround (not pedals) for this ?
Thanks folks

Re: Chorus & trem effects on the electro
The workaround is called "Nord Stage"
NE5 has just 2 fixed/preset depths for those effects, which are associated to their 1 and 2 options you can select (e.g. TREM1 is lighter/drier than TREM2, same for CHOR1 vs CHOR2), Dry/Wet control is not available via MIDI CC either; design/marketing choice...
The MiniMoog reissue costs even more and has no chorus at all, no way... (?)

If You're not using the expression pedal for other tasks You can use that to control Tremolo rate.
Perhaps not a perfect solution and does not fix Chorus, but at least something...

Unfortunately the OP problem is not with controlling the Rate (there is also the knob for that), but the dry/wet mix of those effects

I don't think everyone has realized this, but the Electro is mostly a tease to get you into the Stage
I think I have gear issues ....

And, uh, limited polyphony.
At least it does seamless transitions. Like, literally every transition between sounds is seamless.
The Nord giveth; the Nord taketh away…
