Nord Stage 3 Mainstage Controller Question
I have a question for Nord Stage 3 users who are using the Nord Stage 3 as a controller for Mainstage. Are you able to set up the Stage 3 to ride the output levels in mainstage with a knob or function on the keyboard, perhaps the mod wheel? On some of my other instruments, I may not necessarily be able to ride the gain or mix the input (I don't think Nord Stage does this either), but I can push the output levels or pull them back with a slider. I do this by having a mapping in the Mainstage profile to do this with MIDI out. I can't find any documentation on this. Thank you.

Re: Nord Stage 3 Mainstage Controller Question
I'd use the Extern Section for that, you can assign any CC to its knob, see also The Nord Stage MIDI Tutorial

Re: Nord Stage 3 Mainstage Controller Question
A Nord Stage is definitely rather poor as a MIDI controller. It's famous for its sound. For volume, I'd take an expression pedal, connected to the control pedal jack. Then go for a CP morph.
