I'm growing more tired of my 1147 connector box clicking and popping when switching speeds. I'm connecting my C2d to a 44W modded to 2 speeds via the 1147 kit by H/S. I have 2 C2d's, 2 44W's and 2 1147 kits. It doesn't matter which one is connected to the other ...they all make noise. Literally ruining great keeper recording takes. There is nothing pretty or nostalgic about these annoying sounds.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Trek II, speakeasy and Leslie Wedges are getting harder to find with all of this shut down activity. But I will hunt one down with enough good feedback from ya'll
I was thinking of trying the Dr Fishsticks controller. Its cheap and is getting decent reviews from what Ive seen. I hear they are quiet when switching and do not need a preamp if you use the hI level out from the Nord. Has anyone had any experience with one?
