I'm currently testing the Stage 3 Compact: nice device. However, I'd like to understand, how the keybed will change over time.
As indication I can compare to the very soft one from Yamaha PSR-550, and to my wifes real upright piano, which is about 30 years in use. What I recognize is:
- when I switch from the PSR to the piano, the piano's keybed feels quite heavy to operate
- when switching from the Compact to the piano, the piano feels light to play
- playing the compact for a longer time requires some effort over time
Well, the Compact's keybed works good for me, as the piano mechnics requires more care during operation. This is certainly also a learning phase to get used to it.
As I read, there can be a kind of "burn-in" effect, I'd just like to know, whether or not the Compact will become softer over time, simply from mechanical use.
Thanks
