Re: Looking for a Fender Piano Bass sample
Hi Brian,
Excellent work, and photos. Great studio, and instruments, I'm quite envious.
The Sparkletop is just perfection.
The Fiesta sample WAV has some type of artifact in the G1 through B1 notes. It almost seems as if one of the other notes sounds sympathetically with each "possibly the C2 damper needs adjusting".
NSE has also mapped a nonexistent D#1 "below your lowest E" it is just silence, but it increases the size of your finished product.
Thank you so much for sharing your work.
Cheers, Hanon

Re: Looking for a Fender Piano Bass sample
yeah I heard that bit in the fiesta notes, but i figured it made it a little more authentic to a 47 year old piano - it's a bit difficult to get in and tune up the pre-mark 1 models. I should have silence mapped to D#1 and below and C4 and above, right? that was purposeful..

I see what you did now.
That way you limit the range of playable notes to just the original instrument range, CLEVER!
As much as I use NSE, I never thought of doing it.
Thanks for teaching me a new trick.
Cheers, Hanon

Re: Looking for a Fender Piano Bass sample
one of my biggest complaints about the electro 73 was the ability to play organ notes that don't exist in nature - i'd prefer samples of note-limited instruments (piano bass, mellotron, etc.) to do what the original did, so no looping on the mellotron samples, and only available notes from the original keyboard, etc.. but i'm a dork like that..

Yes, please I'd like to hear it a lot!
and I use the regular Rhodes sound, but I'm sure yours is better!
Thanks a lot @bdodds for the work
I'm sorry of the delay of over ten years, but I didn't got any notifications!
