using nsmp files on this forum
I'm new to Nord. I have an Electro 6D. How do I put a nsmp file uploaded to this user forum on to my Nord? Sorry if this is a silly question!

Have you read the NE6 manual? It's explained in the "10 - Nord Sound Manager" section (then of course, if you didn't yet, you need to download and install Nord Sound Manager and learn how to use it from... its manual)
Nord Sound Manager is an essential application for any Nord electro 6 owner, and allows for organizing, altering and backing up content within the various memory areas on the Nord electro 6. these are some of the common tasks performed through the Nord Sound Manager:
• organizing and naming Programs
• downloading new Piano sounds to the Piano partition
• downloading new Samples to the Sample partition

Re: using nsmp files on this forum
I haven't read it yet.
To be more specific, if someone on this forum posts a patch they created and I want to put it on my Nord, how do I do it? Not sure if it's the same process as if it was one of the sounds already in the Nord library (but not loaded into the keyboard).
Hope that makes sense.

Yes same process. Please save yourself a lot of time and read the manual, as maxpiano explained to you.
