How to ship your Nord wave properly

Postby WaveOramalainen » 05 Feb 2020, 19:36

Hey guys,
I got the Stage 3 so I'm letting my Nord Wave go. I'm shipping it to next owner via norwegian mail, nationally.
Have got the original red softcase for it, but gonna need more.
I'm thinking bubble-wrap and then an extra shell of cardboard; perhaps a box from a music store or something.
What would you use?

Cheers;
w0rl :-)

Yes, it should be enough.

Wave inside the soft case inside a good rubust cardboard box. Fill all the empty space with bubble wrap (best option) or polystyrene chips or paper.
For good measure, usually I also wrap the entire box in tape, to seal it and make it waterproof.
I've sent and received many used items this way, and never had a problem even with clear signs of VERY rough handling by the carrier.

All good guys,
Wave all set and ready to go!
It fit snuggly inside a product box from this company called Fender.
They make music things, too :-)

Cheers + thanks;
