Hi there,

Just have been looking for ages for such application like Midi Metronome and would like to share with those who need this feature.Gets in synch with keyboard and giving Output click for a drummer.

Its called SOUNDBRENNER METRONOME availabale both for Apple and Android. And its FREE!!!

(Tested it on Yamaha Modx and Nord Stage 3 and works really well).

For this purpose we need Usb cable + Lightning connector.



Since NS does not support Midi Clock Out, only IN, in the Metronome INPUT MIDI MENU we have to activate " Nord Stage" connection and activate Master Click / Arpeggiator on NORD accordingly.

Then in Metronome choose CH2 of midi menu. (Global Channel on NORD stays on 1)

Now everything must be synched. whether u press play ,dial the knob for tempos or use a such thing like " Set list and Song Library " modes which give you pre set everything in advance.

In order to get all Synched press Play and just about after 1 bar Nord is ready with Master clock.


There suppose to be another app called YAMAHA METRONOME US doing the same thing but sadly its not available in Ukrainian appstore.
