Nord Grand with Nord Wood Stand

Hi!

Anyone else have any issues mounting the Nord Grand onto the Nord wood stand?

I had my Nord Piano 4 on my Nord Wood Stand and it fit like a glove. The screw heads holding the case on the bottom of the Nord piano 4 rested right into the holes on the brackets of the stand which allowed them to recess in and have the brackets be flat on the bottom. The back was perfectly aligned with the stand. However, my Nord Grand seems have the screw heads sitting on the stands metal brackets (not recessed) and the the only way to line up the threaded holes is to have the grand hanging off about 3 inches and not flush with the stand on the back.

Wondering is this is expected and it's not a true fit like the NP4 or if my brackets are different. Not a big issue but when we spend this kind of money I like things to fit as expected.

the nord grand has different mounting hole positions as I understand it, but I'm not using the wooden stand, I'm using the stand EX only if it has to go on the road, but at the moment as it doesn't (stage 3 does) then it's housed rather cutely in it's own custom case / stand.

Thanks, Lew. Not sure why Nord claims the stand is compatible with the Grand. Guess their idea of compatible is you can toss it on there half assed and not have it secured. I wonder if they'll ever offer some proper brackets.

There are two different versions of the Nord Stand. I got the later and had no issue mounting my Grand on it.

The newer version of the Wood Stand has a model number of NWKS-V2. The older version is simply NWKS. They have both on Amazon.

Thanks. I did get stand when I got the np4 so should be v2 as version 1stand isn’t compatible with np4. I’m just being anal but bugs me the screw heads rest on metal stand bracket whereas the np4 didn’t. Does yours line up flush in back?

Hmm, I don't know what the problem could be. I have the stand with my Grand and did not have an issue. The Grand is not lined up flush with the stand on mine, the Grand overhangs the stand by about a 3/4 of inch. But the metal plate is flush on the bottom and the holes in the line up with metal screws on the bottom of the Grand.

Thanks so much for the reply. There’s definitely two screws on each side of bottom of the grand that dont come close to lining up with and holes to allow them to sit in a hole and sit flat. I can get the knobs to secure it to line up with a open threaded spot though. Wonder if my brackets are wrong on the stand. It’s odd cause my np4 was perfect fit. If you get a chance can shoot me a pic of underneath yours so I can see if my bracket is different or take a look at this pic and let me know if mine is off form yours?

Here are pics from my setup. It looks to me like we have different brackets. Notice the holes for the screwheads.
