Good news: Sample Editor 3 projects can be opened with Sample Editor 2.xx
Still have to test if all parameters are copied (loops, volume, etc.) - but looks good so far ...
Catalina users with no access to a VM or older machine / Windows are out of luck, I guess ...
Still a bit of a headache, as there are probably hundreds / thousands ?? of Stage 2 / EX (Electro 5, Piano 3, ..... ) users with Catalina now ...

That's at least a way to get .nsmp files after a sample has been created with the new editor - if one is on Windows or a MacOS version older than Catalina. I still think that including an .nsmp export function into the new editor or an automatic conversion into .nsmp from Sound Manager is the most appropriate way

Want to convert programs between NS2 and NS3?
Check this awesome website to visually view NS2/3 programs and re-create them on the other instrument!
I think the way this particular software is going, if it won't support the older .NSMP format then it's at the point where Nord are no longer going to support the older format when their new hardware uses the .nsmp3 format.
I've not had chance to put this through it's paces due to things going on, but forgive me asking, how easy is it now to manage looping of multiple samples? compared to the previos version of NSE. yep, even I'm surprised that there's no newer version of Nord Sound Manager to integrate with NSE. we're having to wait for OS updates for Nord Grand, Nord Piano 4 and Nord Electro 6 to support the new NSE compatibility.

I'm also on Catalina 10.15.2, Mac mini 2018 i7.
I've tried deleting the app and redownloading and installing, along with another reboot, and still no output options.
Did it ask to access the microphone when you first launched it? Denying that will block access to CoreAudio.
Check the Privacy settings in system preferences.
I thought of that and checked the security and privacy settings. I wasn't asked about access to microphone or anything. I'm still in the dark about what to do to fix this. I guess if it's just my machine then it's not a bug and Clavia won't be able to help.
Apart from analogika, can you tell me if the app asked you for access to microphone when you first opened it?
