Hi guys, happy holidays !
thank you for all the great tips and ideas.
I own a Nord stage 3 hp76, with the latest update running, and I would like to get some help with two problems I encountered lately.
1) Do the synth engines steal vibrato from each other , even if one of them doesn't have the vibrato mode on?
I know both panels and the synths within them share the same vibrato options(like speed and such), but look at what I just found out.
It's a bit hard to explain, but I'll try, and I have some poor english so excuse me in advance.
I combined two different synth sounds,
So my program will have two synths working together while playing.
The program has one split point, a polysynth in slot a (on the left side of the keys) and mono synth in slot b (on the right side of the keys).
The polysynth has a vibrato aftertouch. The mono synth doesn't have any kind of vibrato on.
When I play the left hand chords (the polysynth with the vibrato aftertouch on, slot a),
and the right hand mono synth Lead sound from slot b at the same time, the polysynth from slot a responds to my right hand playing on slot b aftertouch( ?!) even though in that synth (slot b) there is no vibrato on. At all. So maybe I am on to something that needs an update fix, or it's already a known bug or something. Tell me what you think and try for yourselves to see what I'm talking about, it's a bit funny.
2) The second problem is much easier to describe:
When I run a synth with an arpeggiator on, and I play four notes chord (with up &down option on), its rythm gets all messed up between the notes.
the notes aren't equal to each other, and have different breaks and weird stops from each other.
It happens when using the arpeggiator with or without the MasterClock enabled.
When I play a three notes chord it works fine.
Could it be related to the fact that my synth has a mono/legato on?
Because I've tried without it and I think it worked, but I'm not sure.
Is there a limitation with the number of notes that can be played in one arppeggiator chord?
I'll appreciate your comments.
Thank !

Aftertouch is monophonic, so it gets activated when you press any key.

I just tested this on my NS3C and it works perfectly, I cannot reproduce your issue. I played 8 notes with two hands and they went up and down in perfect order, even when set to Mono/Legato.
I would recommend a backup and fresh install of the current OS.
