How to Reduce Sensitivity of PK27, PedaL Keys 27?

Postby Charlie Cologne » 22 Dec 2019, 21:44

I bought a PK27, Pedal Keys 27, to use with my Kawai MP7 stage piano. They work well but I would like to reduce the sensitivity, i.e. require more than a slight touch to play. I took the case off in order to more-adequately secure the angle bracket for the Swell Pedal and noticed that there are springs and what-looks-like adjustment screws on each pedal. Can these be adjusted to make it less sensitive to touch? Any other ideas? Thanks! [Kawai MP7 setup follows: SYSTEM, Rvc. Mode = Multi and Rcv. Ch3 = Sub3 (one of the Zones); Set SUB3 ZONE to INT. Select Sub3 Zone and set Sound to any Bass; Touch Mode in Menu is Normal, there is no Heavy option, only lighter]
