Hi. So I was a little confused why I can't adjust the velocity curve in My NE3 so I made this way:
u will need an computer and Interface for playing :/ but the sound will be from the nord output (remember to keep the buffer size low we will double its time delay)
1. Turn off local control (if you play the nord it will make no sound now)
2. Connect via MIDI cable the keyboard with the PC (output and input) If yours interface doesn't have MIDI support use MIDI-USB
3. Turn on your daw insert a track that receive the midi from the nord and make an MIDI output in it to send to the nord
4. Insert this plugin in the track http://www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?pl ... ve&id=1414
5.done
BE careful to maintain you buffer size low as we are doubling the delay. But if it is low enough I don't perceive difference as 32 64
I also made an patch in MAX MSP if you want, that do the same of the plugin.
If you are recording MIDI/AUDIO and want to adjust the midi velocity
a) record the output midi of the track with the vst ( in reaper daw is just change the record mode of the track very simple, or route it to other track and record that other)
b) the audio is just record the input of the interface
Hope this post will help someone
PS: It can also be done with arduino if you don't want to be with an pc all the time
PS2: For some reason this post was moved to the nord stage forum, which is strange since it can be done in any nord....

Re: How to Adjust Velocity Curve NORD
Yes, this will work.
Since you're essentially only routing MIDI via the computer, the size of the audio buffer doesn't really matter (you don't route any audio through).
An alternative to doing an Arduino based setup would be one of the commercially available MIDI boxes that can do this.
