Re: NS3 Velocity and General Sound vs NS2

Greetings to all .. After a year what do you think of the NS3? With this operating system I find myself quite well compared to a year ago ... I must say that the key sound feeling is still not very good for me ... But I got used to it ..... I played an old ns classic and I have to say while not being a connoisseur of velocity and anything else I was better with key ... Of course I would not go back, but that feeling I still miss the key ... The ns3 is still a great keyboard!

I agree. I tried to get used to it but still prefer NS2 action and sounding. So much deep sounding and fell for me.

I think these comments/opinions would be more informative if people remembered to mention which model actions they were comparing. Personally, I find the NS3 73SW action more piano-playable than the NS2 73SW. But I don't know whether or not I'd feel the same if I were comparing the 88 key versions, for example.

The keybed of our 3 88 is good .... It is the answer with the sound that does not satisfy me ... Paradoxically the keybed of our classic was certainly worse than the 3..but I had more sound control and consequently the sound / key interaction was better .. This is my personal opinion .. The fact remains that NS3 is excellent

Single key suddenly doubles sound level

Postby chopin » 22 Mar 2021, 22:31

A single key ( lowest C# on my Nord Stage 3 bought July 2018 ) suddenly delivers sound doubled as high as normal. Is this an issue with the piano ? Has anyone here experienced a similar thing ?
