Electro 5D Control Pedal Not working?

Post by Drhigh5 »

Hi guys,

I have a generic M-Audio control pedal for keyboards and although it isn't in the preset list of control pedals in the System menu when I go to the controller settings 1-10 each the % moves from 0-100% when moving the pedal up and down. This suggest to me that the Electro 5D is reading the signal from the pedal.
What I want it to do is to work as a volume control for the lower or upper parts and I just can't get it to make any difference at all moving the pedal. I have even tried stepping up different % from 1-10. I am not sure why there are options 1-10?

Can anyone provide any advice or guidance? Is it possible to do what I want it to do?

Hi,

you need to enable CtrlPedal on the Upper and/or Lower section you want to control (shift + Octave Up button of each section, as explained in NE5 manual Section 3 "Parts" chapter )

About that 1-10 setting you mention, it is the CONTROL PEDAL GAIN setting in the System menu, leave it to 1 as far as the pedal sweeps properly from 0 to 100% (again as suggested in the manual)
