I just bought a piano Nord piano 4
I would like to buy a headset and speakers adapted to my NP4.
I have a budget about 200 euros for the headset and 500 euros for speakers
but I'm demanding about quality of sound obtained for pianos sounds.
I thank you in advance for your help. Best regards.

Re: NP4 speaker and headphone
Honestly I wouldn't recommend to buy the Nord Piano Monitors. Yes, they look great. And yeah, they sound good. But they are humming way too loud.
After 3 days of testing I gave up and returned them. I couldn't believe that Nord would sell such bad monitors, so I ordered another pair. Same problem. I returned them too.
Since then I am asking me, why nobody is talking abbout that problem.
In fact everyone who listened to my monitors said it's a No Go. But online everybody is talking about how great they are.
My question to all fans of the Nord Piano Monitors is: How is it possible to enjoy playing piano if there is a permanent noise coming out the speakers? Doesn't that bother you?
I would really like to hear your opinions.

Re: NP4 speaker and headphone
I have never heard the Nord Piano Monitors in person. But, if other people were experiencing similar problems, we'd be reading about it over and over again right here. So that makes me think that your humming problem might be external to the monitors themselves, e.g. dodgy power, something radiating electromagnetic frequencies nearby, etc.
I think I have gear issues ....

Re: NP4 speaker and headphone
I auditioned the Nords at a store recently, albeit connected to an S3-88... on floor stands at approximately the same positions they'd be in if they were mounted to a P4 or Grand. No hum or noise was apparent (in a showroom full of florescent lighting). The sound quality was what you'd expect from high-end near-field monitors.

I tried different wall sockets in different rooms. Nothing changed.

I called my online store and asked if it would make sense to order a 3rd pair. The customer service answered that all active monitors are humming - more or less. And that the Nord Monitors would hum more than average.
I would be glad about experiences from people who actually bought a pair and tested them in a quiet environment (don't know how isolated your showroom was...)

As i said: The sound itself was quite okay.
