Hi,
So I was setting up my patches for a gig tomorrow and noticed an odd issue that appears to happen randomly, but was hoping someone might be able to explain why it is happening?
I created a patch using the Organ engine. The patch has drive from the Leslie sim
As well as additional drive from the effects section. I am also using a slight delay and a bit of reverb. I am running my NS3 on OS 2.20. The issue involves the amount of drive and volume being dramatically cut after playing the patch for a bit. I can’t seem to make it happen intentionally, and sometimes it more immediately occurs than at other times. No pedals were hooked up and I was monitoring with headphones. None of the morph lights are lit. As soon as turn to another patch and back the Organ patch, the sounds has the amount of volume and drive that I programmed.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Is there any type of limiter on the headphone output? I didn’t notice this issue on any other patch I demoed.
Thanks,
Bill

No, double checked. Compression was not engaged. Thanks for your feedback.

Re: Odd Issue With Organ Patch on NS3
Is there some changes of the organ level button when it happens ?
Do you have the same problem If you switch of all the effets (reverb, rotary spk, drive...), dry organ ?
Does it happen only when you’re playing Chords and bass organ in the same time ?

Re: Odd Issue With Organ Patch on NS3
Are you using the Rotary (Leslie) effect as a stationary effect, i.e. with the rotor stopped or running very very slowly? Depending on whether you run it mono or stereo, there may be some positions where the volume is (much) lower than at other positions -- not sure if that could be the cause?
Just an idea to check out -- so when it happens next time, try to engage the Rotary and make it rotate a bit, if this applies to you.
