How to get the MP3-Player:

firth of fifth by genesis
hi there! I own a ns2ex and looking for a good present for this song! piano, organs and the awesome synth solo sound. Please help!

Hi,
in case you are still looking for the sounds used by Tony Banks for Firth of Fifth please check out the attached sample. Add some reverb and further effects as you like - I use reverb = hall soft and speaker/comp = comp, both at a rate of 5 on my Electro 3.
As far as I know, Tony Banks used the Trumpet preset from the Arp Pro Soloist synthesizer for the synth-solo. I used an Arp Pro Soloist emulation (VST-plugin) in Cubase to sample that sound and to create the attached sample by using the Nord Sample Editor.
I would be glad to know your opinion on how good it matches the original sound.
