So I have the Nord Drum 3p, an iConnectivity mio, and Logic on an imac. I can't seem to figure out how to figure out how to use the Nord Drum 3p to control software drums in logic.

Also, I downloaded the Nord Drum 3 Manager and can't seem to get it to connect, I dont know if thats necessary or not. Do I need to enable midi on the Nord Drum somehow? I'm not sure what steps I'm missing.

My goal is to buy Addictive Drums 2 and play it using the Nord into logic but I want to make sure I can get it to play Logic's stock sounds first.

Hi Cody,
When you hit a pad, the 3p sends a MIDI note on the Global MIDI channel,
You can check the Global MIDI channel and which pads (channel 1-6) are coupled to which notes in the MIDI settings,
Press shift + MIDI to go through the MIDI settings, see page 12 of the manual for details,
In Logic make sure that you couple 6 drum sounds to these 6 notes, and the virtual instrument is listening to the global MIDI channel (or Omni = all) the 3p is sending the notes on.
