Hi forum,
is there a secret switch to put 5V on the USB port?
I´d like to supply a little LED light without batteries or extra power supply...

Re: USB port as power source?
No... only USB hosts (rectangular connector) can provide power, USB slaves (square connector) can receive. USB slaves cannot provide power.

You might try using the midi out port for low voltage power supply.

As Pablo says, better bring with you a simple, USB (phone) charger and connect the light to it, with a USB extender cable if needed.
