I have ripped the guts out of a kerzweil mark152 digital grand and I am putting a Nord Piano 4 in the shell. I was hoping to use the built-in triple kerzweil pedal but I don’t know if it will be compatible. On the built-in pedal, there are four wires. A ground/common, and one for each pedal. Pressing a pedal closes the circuit on its corresponding wire; couldn’t be simpler. But when I check continuity on the TRS connector of the Nord triple pedal, I only get about 500 ohms when pressing the sustain pedal between tip and sleeve. Otherwise I can’t get the other two pedals to have any effect on continuity/resistance. I’m assuming the Nord has some more sophisticated electronics on board to make it work. Does anyone know if I could use the kerzweil triple pedal? I’m assuming I’ll just need to use the Nord pedal.
Thanks!
