How do I get this wave file to open in Nord stage 3 .... any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I've spent hours on trouble shooting. And why is there still not sound editor for Stage 3. ?

Re: Wave file
The Sound Manager automatically converts the sample that was created by the Sample Editor into the NS3. The sample is an xxx.nsmp until it is converted by the Sound Manager into an xxx.nsmp3. Not sure what a xxx.nwipro is.

That's a Nord Sample Editor project, you can open it in NSE but without the wave files (.wav) used in the project you will not be able to generate the .nsmp (to be loaded in the keyboard)

Re: Wave file
It is not difficult, but there are a few steps involved.
Connect your Nord to your computer using USB
You open de the .nwiproj file with the Sample editor
You should see the wav file listed on the left and you should see the waveform on the right
- If there is no waveform/file, you wil have to add it and generate a sample first. This process is described in the manual. -
If the waveform/file is there... you click "generate'.
This generates an untitled .nsmp file. You can rename this to whatever you want.
Close the Sample editor and open the Sound Manager.
Select Samples, to show you a list of the samples that are on your Nord
Click Organize to show emty slots where you can put tour new sample
Drag the sample that was generated to an open slot in the sample list.
It will automagically be transformed into a nsmp3 file and it will be playable on your Stage 3
Done
