Weight keys nord stage 3 compact
Hi everyone! I've a nord stage 3 compact... I have a question: are the weight of the keys slightly different in the central octave than the rest of the keyboard? I have the impression that the central white keys are slightly (very little) softer. It's possible? Thank you...

Not on mine they're not...
Is yours brand new? If it's second-hand then possibly the central keys may've been played more than the others which I guess might change their feel over time, although I've had mine for around 18 months and have been playing it regularly but all the keys seem to still require the same amount of pressure...

#Hobster yes. My nord is new. I notice this very small difference only between the middle and lower octave notes.

The Fatar TP8O keybed used on NS3 SW/3 is not graded so there should be no difference, anyway an impression is subjective and only an actual measurement (using certified weights) could tell if the difference is real or just you perception; I suggest you just play and enjoy your NS3 and do not mind

Or you could use an uncertified shot bottle from the mini bar, as you only need a relative measurement to confirm your impression.

If it is brand new, and you have played it a little, it is possible you have played mostly in the middle area (I guess most of us do that in many settings). So your middle keys may have been "broken in" whereas the other keys maybe hasn't. So I'd play it some more (also in the upper and lower octaves) and see if it breaks in then and become more even.
