Hi there,
is it right, that the main difference between the two keyboards Nordstage 3 HP 76 and Nord Electro 6 HP 76 ist the missing of the synthi section, so you only can use synthi-samples with the "Electro"? This would not be so awful, because I always use synthi-samples until now...
Are the HP keys comparable, if you want to have a piano-like keyboard?
Are there other important differences? My nephew want's to buy something like this and he is a student, so he has not so much money. I own two Nordstage 2 EX 88, but these are difficult to get used and the Version 3 ist to expensive for him. Could the Electro 5 HP 76 also be enough for him? So are the differences between 5 and 6 so big? For my opinion, I only miss the new E-Piano-filters on my Nordstage 2, everything else is no problem for me...
What is your opinion?

Re: Main difference between Nordstage HP and Nord Electro HP
NE6 and NS3 HP keys are the same except NS3 has aftertouch. Differences between NE6 and NS3 are discussed at general-nord-forum-f29/stage-3-compact-vs-electro-6-t15138.html - it's more than just the synth section.
Nord lists most of the differences between NE5 and NE6 at https://www.nordkeyboards.com/products/ ... ison-chart - but they never like to point out what's better in the old model, so it's worth noting you also do lose a few things... the NE5 has more organ tweaking options and better facilities for triggering external sounds over MIDI. (Also, while the chart does show that the E5 has Set List mode and E6 does not, the significance is easily overlooked if you don't know what Set List mode is.)
