Hello, I'm new Nord user, this is my first post.
My Kawai sustain pedal is not working with my Nord Electro 6. To fix this problem, I updated from version 1.06 to the new one, version 2.04, but continues not working. I tested with all the options (see the figure). Can you give me another idea to try? Maybe my pedal is not compatible?
Thanks in advance

Re: Sustain pedal not working
Is the model a normal sustain pedal (on-off type) with a 2-wire plug (tip and ring only)? Does it work with other keyboards? Have you tried other pedals with the Nord? Does it work if you plug it into the rotor pedal connector (as a rotor pedal controller only)?

Re: Sustain pedal not working
Thanks baekgaard.
- Is a typical sustain pedal (on-off type, without more options or buttons).
- It works in other keyboards (I used in a Kawai and Yamaha, just plug and works)
- I not tried other pedals with the Nord (I bought it yesterday). But, I agree that is a good option.
- The pedal does not work if I plug into the rotor pedal, but when I plug the pedal the nord recongnize it.
Do you think that is a problem with the pedal? Or may be I can try another option on the keyboard?

Re: Sustain pedal not working
What is the specific model you have? Can you do a photo of the pedal and the plug as well?
I can see that an often used model is the Kawai F-10 H, which appears to support half-pedaling and has a tip-ring-sleeve plug ("stereo jack" and not "mono jack"). That may very likely not work with the Nord at all.

Re: Sustain pedal not working
Thanks baekgaard , the problem was that I was using a pedal with a stereo jack. I tested with a pedal with mono jack and it works perfect.
This conclude my problem.
