Hi Folks, I have a Nord Piano 2 and have just tried to upload onto it a new piano sound Royal Grand 3D, the upload seemed to go fine but it doesn't appear in the window on the piano, and in the Nord Sound Manager piano window the patch is shown but has against it Unused??? Can anyone help please, I'm using a Mac to interface and have loaded on the most recent OS...
Thanks - Peter

" ... not appear in the window ..."
You have to create a patch that uses the piano sample you uploaded. That's why it shows as "unused".

I think I have gear issues ....

Re: UPLOADED PIANO VOICE NOT APPEARING?
Thanks for that, next obvious question how do I make a patch of the piano sample (sorry for being so thick, this is the first Nord instrument I've ever owned!)

Re: UPLOADED PIANO VOICE NOT APPEARING?
You could start out doing this: Select program A:11 (on the "prog/menu" dial); this is likely a grand piano. Turn the "piano select" until the name just below the horizontal line is the name of the piano you have loaded (Royal Grand 3D).
You can now play your newly loaded piano sample.
If you want to save this as a program, press "save" and then turn the "prog/menu" dial to wherever you want to save it, or just press "save" twice to overwrite the current location. Pressing "shift" and "save" allows you to rename the program before saving.
