With NS3, OS 2.10 I have trouble using the drawbar switches.
When I press one of the keys to increase or decrease a level the level jumps several steps at a time.
It's between one and four steps.
The behaviour is unpredictable for me. Nearly impossible to control the organ drawbar settings.
I don't think that this is an hardware issue of the switches because all of them have the problem.
Not sure when the problem occured.
I tried to install older OS versions to test the impact of the OS versions. But installation of older versions cause error messages and don't work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: NS3 Unpredictable behaviour of drawbar switches
Which older OS versions did you try to install and which error messages do you receive when trying to install an older OS version? There shouldn’t be a problem when installing older OS versions, you may therefore have a general problem with your NS3 which may also cause the malfunction of the drawbar buttons.

Re: NS3 Unpredictable behaviour of drawbar switches
Which organ model do you use when this happens?
If Farf (Farfisa), then it is like it should be, the drawbars simulate rocket switches.
For B3 and Vox, they should move step by step.

Re: NS3 Unpredictable behaviour of drawbar switches
Thanks for your answers
I tried to install 2.00 and 2.02 and had the same error message with both of them.
I will try older versions as well and see.
I know that for other organ types the drawbars are just switches. I have that unpredictable behaviour with B3.
And the level is not reproducable jumbing between 0, 4 and 8. For me it seems totally random.
There are as well some cases, where the levels are going up and down again after pressing a drawbar switch only one time-

Re: NS3 Unpredictable behaviour of drawbar switches
Do you have any morph functions enabled for the organ? Just checking that it isn't the wheel or pedal that accidentally causes issues...

Re: NS3 Unpredictable behaviour of drawbar switches [resolve
Thanks for your ideas.
Yesterday I could solve the problem with these steps:
1. Backup the programs using the Nord Sound Manager
2. Format the program partition using the Nord Sound manager.
3. Install OS 2.02 (with the formatted program partition it worked without error messages)
- Now the drawbars have been working as expected
4. Recover my programs from the backup
- Here I got error messages for some program that I have changed when OS 2.10 was installed. I guess this is due to some structural chages in programs in 2.10
5. Install OS 2.10 again
- Now the drawbars are working as expected
So I assume that something went wrong during the former installation of 2.10 or when changing and storing organ settings afterwards.
Hope that the problem wil not come back.

Re: NS3 Unpredictable behaviour of drawbar switches
If it ever comes back, check again if you have morph enabled. The NS3 will do exactly this if you have eg morph on the drawbars, and have the wheel (or pedal) midway and start using the buttons...
