Hey guys,
I own a Nord Wave and like it a lot.
Pretty soon after getting it 2nd hand, I did what plenty others here seem to do:
Started chucking our programs and samples that don't fit me, and made my own.
Wonderful.
But now what's happened, is that all the programs appear out of order.
I,e, when I click the program up/dn buttons, or scroll the wheel, it no longer progresses to the next or previous program.
It will bounce from 1:01 to 3:69 to 2:24 to 1:22 as I click the up button, for instance.
Does anyone have a clue how this may have happened, and how I may change it?
My way to navigate programs now, is by clicking in Nord Sound Manager to choose which one I want.
In the list in Nord Sound Manager, they're all listed in the correct order, have the right numbers and so on.
But not so in the actual program memory of the synth.
Thanks + cheers;
Eivind

Re: Program slots no longer in correct order
Hi! Did you check the left-bottom indicator indicating sort-mode?
Nord Wave has three kind of sort modes which list numerical, alphabetical, and categorical order.
You can also change mode by pressing Shift+Chord botton.
I hope it might you help.

Re: Program slots no longer in correct order
I guess this happens because there are empty program positions that the instrument "jumps" when moving from one program to the next available. You can very easily fix this in the "organize" tab in Nord sound manager, just by draging any program in the position you want. This is very helpful also if you want to rearange the programs for a gig.

Re: Program slots no longer in correct order
I now noticed it is not the same issue, but a matter of sorting as KnobTanaka said. Nord's engineers were smart enough to make the instrument skip the empty locations when scrolling between the programs!
