Hi
I´m having trouble with my older Echo audio interface, and are considering to replace it with a newer card.
Focusrite is a brand that seems to be easy to get access to from the nearby music-dealer.
Was hoping to get some opinions on this card based on user-experience from forum members.
Edit: I´m aiming at the Focusrite 6i6
in advance

I've got the 18i20 and I really love this interface. Decent software mixer (if you don't have a DAW) too.

I have the 2i4 (mkI). Combined with a Mackie 1402 vlz3 mixer. Very happy with it.

I have an 18i20 gen1 and I have mixed feelings. It does seem to do what its supposed to do. But there are some annoying problems:
- Focusrite mixing software seems rather complex although once you get past that its workable.
- Only 4 stereo mixes available - 8 are available on the saphire. I made that mistake.
- Its driver is dodgy as hell on USB3 but very stable on USB2.
Ive recently got a behringer UMC204HD to compare at least the USB thing.
Gen 2 got a new mixing app AFAIK.

I have the 2i4 (Gen 2) and overall am pretty happy with it.
Agree with the above post, USB3 was occasionally a bit dodgy so stuck with a USB2 port.
Came with a good bundle of various software and you also get a free Addictive Keys instrument too.

I guess you both are running on windows?
I´m using mac - so if my assumptions are right, it shouldn´t be an issue.
...but very useful inputs!

Yeah those grand piano's are very nice indeed!
I've bought the upright and e-piano also from XLN. Pretty amazing stuff!
