Hi,
I've already a Nord Stage 2 (88) and bought a NS3 compact (73). Now I'm switching my programs form the NS2 to my new NS3.
I found some features missing in the Synth-Section of the NS3 (see the picture):
- MOD ENV VELOCITY
- UNISON MULTI
- AMP ENV VELOCITY
I didn't find this taps on my NS3. There is only UNISON 1,2 and 3.
Where is this on my NS3? Please, can somebody help me?
Greets!

Re: NS3 missing some features
The different Nord models are not directly compatible, so the parameters might not exist.

Re: NS3 missing some features
Hi,
I'm also interested in learning about which NS3 synth parameters compare or are equal/close to the NS2 synth parameters - does anyone of the Stage synth specialists here can tell?

Re: NS3 missing some features
Making a 1:1 equivalent is not possible, even parameters with the same name could behave differently; it is a matter if studying and understanding both synths in depth from the respective manuals, then work with both synths side by side to try and replicate the sounds, not just comparing buttons on the panel.
About the velocity, the (almost) corresponding setting is now under the respective envelopes sections (the Velocity button in Mod Envelope and Amp Envelope).
Unison Multi as intended on NS2 synth, instead, is not part of the NS3 synth structure.

Re: NS3 missing some features
Isn’t the effect you want (super thick detuned synth) mostly achievable by using a super wave instead?
That might be why they dropped the mode on the Stage 3.

Re: NS3 missing some features
I do not think it is the same, because the effect in the NS2 could be applied to any oscillator configuration. The suprwaves are just a subset of waveforms.
