RING MODULATOR (Stage Ex) Independant Unit

Hi. Is it possible to obtain the Ring Modulator FX from the Stage series (specifically the Stage EX but any version would do) as a separate FX unit for use with anything?
Failing this, does anyone know of any Ring Modulator FX which sound similar (as good as or better) to the Nord Ring Modulators, whilst also have the ability to control the parameters with an expression pedal?

Any help would be really gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

The ring mod in the Eventide ModFactor and H9 pedals is VERY good and quite flexible too. Many more controls than the Nord one, but they are also expression-pedal capable (and MIDI able!) and you can map the expression pedal to multiple parameters so you can get the "one control to rule them all" effect you're looking for very easily. Love mine.
