My Nord Stage 2 EX won't make a sound. I've tried headphone out as well outputs 1+2 . I've connected it directly to an amplifier and to an audio interface. The Master Volume is up, as is the Piano volume (I'm using piano setting). I'm new to this keyboard, but I'm familiar with audio basics, and I can't figure out why I'm getting no signal at all.
Please advise!

"I'm new to this keyboard" -- did it ever make a sound?
I'd start with piano, as it's the simplest. Also check the signal routing to the four outputs in the menu section. Remove all pedals, as wrong pedal in wrong input can silence your board.

I think I have gear issues ....

In addition to these great suggestions, make sure to check the midi setting. Press and hold the shift button, then tap midi button. You’ll see ‘local’ on/off. Local should be ON.

Re: Help! No sound
Hi christianis,
There is not a single solution when you don't get sound from a keyboard, there is not a single general problem with Nord keyboards that causes them not to produce any sound. As you can read in above thread and other threads here in the forum, there can be many causes; level settings, output routing, volume/swell pedal settings, cabling, amplification, etc etc. If it's brand new (to you), check the manual, try cables and amplification that you know works, try headphones, try several patches. If you suspect it's broken, perhaps you should contact your dealer..
Cheers, Albert

Hi cristhianis,
can you post a photo of your nord to see the current settings of all the buttons and knobs? This may help to identify some very basic potential reasons.

Re: Help! No sound
Yes - check if you have put your Sustain pedal jack in where the Control pedal should be. I've done that mistake myself... A "very silent" Nord Stage then

Re: Help! No sound
@cristhianls: this might be a stupid thought, so please forgive me, but your nord is not an entertainment keyboard with speakers in it. You won't hear anything if it's not connected via its line-outs with an amp with speakers on. ??

Haven't been brave enough to ask this question, but it's of course something that should be checked
