There have few (if any) mentions of keyboard actions deteriorating over time on this forum. If it were a problem, people would complain about it here.

Trust me on this ...

Para un pianista profesional, es mejor un Nord Piano 4 que un Nord Stage 3? Podría alguien comentar las similitudes y diferencias entre ambos instrumentos Nord citados?

English only on this forum, please ...

I am not a professional pianist, just an enthusiast. I prefer the Nord Piano 4 action over the Stage 3 for piano work. There are no major differences, just very subtle ones. For example, the Stage 3 has an aftertouch strip under the action which can sometimes throw me off. The actions seem calibrated differently.

BTW, I have a very nice acoustic grand at home. No problems going back and forth between the Nord Piano 4 and my Bosie.

As far as capabilities for making sounds, the Stage 3 is much, much more capable. But you might not need all of that.

Best of luck.

Have to say, I'm really getting into deep with the NP4. Geez.

The action is turning out to be amazing. The Nord piano samples are amazing as well . A bit of layered samples, and we're all good. Now that I've mastered the material, all fun. I just float above, listening to the sound, and do what I do.

As should you?

I play this thing for three hours long on most gigs, and walk away refreshed and enthused. Not tired, except in a good way?

I now want to always do it again. The mark of an amazing instrument.

Coupled with spectacular amplification (you don't want to know) it's right up there with my Bosie 200. Not the same, just a different live vibe.

I've had my well-documented romance with the N3C, well, the NP4 is another lover.

Engaging in its own way :)

After listening to a lot of different videos, this one shows the Nord Piano 4 and the Roland RD-2000 side by side on a number of piano intros.

Hoping it's useful to somebody...
