Of the 6 channels, channel 1 just stopped working. All of the other channels/pads still work fine. When I hit the pad, the green light for channel 1 does not light up at all. While it does for the other pads.
- No MIDI connected
- Left / Right Inputs are connected to a PA
Any tips for troubleshooting?

Re: Nord Drum 3P Pad / Channel 1 stopped working
Hi kgrooms,
Not sure, what happens if you use another pad layout? (System settings: PL - Pad Layout: PL1-4 represent four different layouts for how the Nord drum 3P Channels 1 to 6 are assigned to the six pads). Is it always channel1 that is affected with all layouts? Or is it one pad that is 'dead', so is a different channel affected with each layout?

halp! Pad stopped working, now triggers other channels
One of my pads on my 3P suddenly stopped responding to its own channel (middle top). It is independent of which pad layout I use, the middle top pad seems physically defective. When hitting softly, one other channel reponds, when hitting harder, another channel is added. Is this something I could fix myself, or do I need professional repairs?

Hi okeribok,
That doesn't sound right, I think it's broken and I don't think you can fix this yourself..
Best of luck,
Albert

Re: Nord Drum 3P Pad / Channel 1 stopped working
Any ideas about what happened here? Pad (or channel) 2
On my Nord Drum 3P just stopped working. Pad 2 doesn't work on all of the kits either. I was assuming it could be the sensitivity or threshold, but it's literally doing nothing and not responding to any adjustments.
My Nord Drum 3P is relatively new too, about a month.
Any insight would be much appreciated.

Hi,
It sounds like a hardware problem, you may be the third here, I don't think you can repair it yourself, ask your dealer/distributor how to get it repaired.

Hi there!
Same problem.
I hit the fifth pad and it doesn't work (low sound and trigger channel 2 and 6).
Have you solve the problem? How?
Thanks!
Daniele

Hi,
(I merged two threads about problems with 3p pads)
I think you should contact your dealer/distributor to get it repaired, I don't think you can fix this yourself..

I have the same issue. Middle top pad stopped triggering. My Nord Drum 3P went back to Thomann (the dealer). Fingercross. I love this drumsynth so much. Can't wait to have it back.

Re: Nord Drum 3P Pad / Channel 1 stopped working
I can confirm the same issue and it is definitely something Nord needs to look into. I too love this machine and even after only using it a short time it has become an integral part of my production setup. Minutes before writing this my SECOND Nord Drum 3P has lost the 5th pad. The first time, over 2 months ago it was within the first 2 weeks, this time it was within 1 day! The same pad! It's almost cruel at this point. I sent the first one back and it took me 2 months to find another one in stock somewhere. I've never experienced anything like this with any product I've ordered, and likewise, would never have ordered that product for a third time as I most likely will do. That's a testament to the quality of the sounds on this thing but still, incredibly disappointing. I'm actually going to finish my current production only using 5 pads at this point and then send it back. I really have no other choice at this point as there is nothing that exists with this sound design capability and also playability. I have mine connected to midi in/midi out, both output channels, and a Roland KT-10 kick pedal. FWIW, the channel itself still produces sound when connected to a controller or a sequencer is triggering it.
