I would like o switch my new 110v Nord Piano 4 to run on 240v ... I understand it’s possible to do by opening the unit up and just switching it over inside n the internal transformer .... plus swapping to a 1.25 amp rated slow blow fuse ....
It seems hard to find a 1.25 A fuse but I can get either 1 A or 1.5 A ..... will either of these work or does it have to be 1.25 A only ... ? My input voltage can be run from 220 volts up to 240volts ... would this have a bearing on which size fuse would be better to use ... ? Any advice appreciated - don’t want to blow up a new Piano 4 ... !

Re: Piano 4 voltage switch
Please check if you really need a 1.25 A fuse -- I seem to remember a value like 125 mA being mentioned elsewhere!
A 1.25 A slow blow fuse would allow your board to consume around 300 W of energy, in which case it would be REALLY warm to the touch.

Re: Piano 4 voltage switch
It's 125mA for 240V. 220V and 240V are considered line-equivalent (they're within the tolerance of equipment designed for the 230V nominal standard).
