Yup, would like to see a photo of this too!
How stable is the single tier with the 88 note Chuck? Really keen on this, but the review on the 2 tier stand was mixed and put me off a bit.

I haven't had a chance to really try it out. Very busy between day job, rehearsals and gigs. I should have time this weekend, and I'll come back to you all with an informed opinion.

Maybe even a photo or two.

@solmaster - I would expect the single-tier column to have noticeably less movement than the two-tier. Assuming that they are both made of the same materials, the columns on the two-tier stand are 55% longer than the one-tier and would be more prone to rotation and flex in general. When you also consider that the weight is being placed higher on the two-tier column and a greater distance from the point where the columns are attached to the stand, it wouldn’t be fair to judge the one-tier by my review.

Set up the dual-column, single-tier STAY piano stand with my Nord Piano 4, and played it for over an hour. My how time flies.

On the all-important wobble question: yes, I can get it to wobble vertically. But only if I go full on Jerry Lee Lewis banging 16th note chords. It's still playable when I'm doing that, maybe one inch of total movement up and down?

Otherwise, it's exceptionally stable, with perhaps the only thing more stable being a table-style stand (but they can wobble horizontally I've found). No danger ever of it coming off the stand.

Other things I liked:
- perfect height for me
- nice cable management hidden from view
- not going to knock over easily if someone trips into it
- stable for 99.5% of what I play
- plenty of room for pedals, and they're never ever going to slip away again thanks to the V floor brace
- very lightweight, very attractive and durable
- ~15 second set up / break down -- no fiddly bits

All in all, a nice bit of gear if you play piano-style gigs sitting down. And like red.

Hi Chuck. That looks great! Thank you for posting the photo, much appreciated! Yes, for piano/single keyboard type gigs (I only gig with a Stage 3 88 nowadays) it looks perfect. Great wee review. And I do like red!

UPDATE: I now have played three acoustic gigs with the single-tier, double column STAY stand, as per picture above. Two vocalists and little old me banging it out on a NP4 and a Bose L1 Compact.

We stay small, which means we can get all sorts of gigs that larger acts can't. Thankfully, we're now turning down gigs as we're busy most weekends, and a few during the week. Who knew?

The verdict? I really, really like it for single board, piano-style seated gigs. I can be the Piano Man.

It's attractive. When we post pictures of the group, the RED stand plus my Nord Piano 4 really pops visually. No boring black steel stands for me. It's now part of our visual identity as a group. Wish they didn't have the huge white STAY logo on it though. Sigh.

It's sturdy. I never notice any motion, swaying, twisting, etc. gig after gig. Even when playing enthusiastically.

It's easy. Super light, super easy to assemble and break down. A tiny bit fiddly to get into the included carry bag, but that was just a bit of learning on my part. Now it's much easier.

Definitely a keeper. If it were stolen tomorrow, I'd turn around and buy another.
