Using the sample editor to change volumn of a sound?

Postby Maaike » 28 Jan 2019, 22:18

Hi everyone,

I am trying to change the volumne of a sound I uploaded previously. While setting the volumne to max, the sound is still barely hearable. I tried to change this using the sample editor, however, it seems I cannot upload an .nsmp file to the editor, or change it..

Does anybody have an idea how to change this? Perhaps without using the sample editor?

Thanks!

You would need to "maximize" it in a DAW or wav editor of some sort first, then re-create the Nord sample. The maximizing itself could be just raising the overall level up if it is low, or perhaps compressing it if you really need to get a lot of volume out of it. In either case, this assumes you have access to the raw wav file.
