I have an 88 keys Nord Stage 2EX. Is it possible to upload my Nord Stage Patches on the Nord lead rack?
I'm looking for a solution to have my Nord stage sounds and patches with me, leaving my keyboard at home. Do you think it's possible?

Hello, neither the patch formats nor the synths themselves are at all similar. It's not possible to convert them in any way since the synths do not offer the same virtual hardware.

Do you know if there's a solution to have my Nord Stage patches whitout bringing my Nord Stage with me ?

Sorry, there isn't. You'll have to recreate something similar on your Lead from scratch, since the Lead cannot sample or play samples.

To be clear: the whole point of a Stage is to do things the others don't do: to combine stuff in a convenient way so everything is right there. Each Nord has a specific purpose and isn't really replaceable by another Nord. Each of them do unique things that the other's cannot do, but cannot do some things the others can. That's the whole point behind them! So a Stage isn't replaceable, really. It's a unique instrument. What you're asking is sort of like "can I play my acoustic piano by bringing a tuba with me instead?" and the answer should (I hope!) be pretty clear as to why not - they are completely different instruments which don't do the same things at all.

Well, in fact you can play the piano with the tuba, but you need to bring the piano. I once heard a performance where a very talented tuba player used the sympathetic resonance of the pianos strings whilst holding the sustain pedal to create really nice effects! (Sorry for being) offtopic

along the lines of the direction of this thread...

of course it is possible to take your Stage programs with you to any gig while leaving your keyboard at home. a simple thumb drive can accomplish this.

you won't actually be able to play or hear them, but you'll have them with you in case someone else shows up with a Nord Stage!
