Hi Caseygirl, welcome to the forum. We try to be pretty strict about staying on topic here to help users find the answers they need faster, so please look in our Accessories and Amplification section for a huge discussion about amplifiers (read the FAQ in that section, first) and we'll not discuss that further in this thread.

Regarding the EP-3, there are reports that it works. I'm not sure what setting was used, but it won't hurt your Nord to flip through a couple pedal presets (my guess is the EV-5 is probably similar). Sweep the pedal from min to max while in the pedal setup menu to see the display show the current pedal position. If 0 and 100 line up nicely with the end of the pedal travel and the middle sweep is more or less smooth, you're good to go.

@stevo, hopefully you've found the answer by now, but the EV-5 is a fully supported pedal. There should be an option for it. I'm using one myself with no problems. Perhaps you have the adjustment pot on the pedal set incorrectly?

I used to be able to use my Roland
FS-6 Dual latch pedal to change programs but ever since the 2.02 update only
the A side (program down) works. Ive tried various cables (Stereo-Y into the
A and B ports as well as stereo to stereo into the A/B port) but for the life
of me the Program Up function no longer works. Using a Single Roland Latch
pedal does the same... only Program Down in all modes (Live, Song). Any
thoughts? Very bummed by the loss of this function for my live shows. Thanks
for your time and thoughts here.

Used the Yamaha FC7 for years, but got tired of the wires shorting. I'm pretty careful with my gear, but the cable on the FC7 was a problem. I switched to the Moog EP-3 since the cable plugs into the pedal and it is working great. It uses the same settings as the FC7 so the NE6 works fine with it.

Just bought an EP-3 to accompany my EV-5 (having different pedals helps me remember which is for what purpose!) - I think from here out I'll only be buying the Moogs. Great, well made pedal. My only gripe is that if you use them on carpet and you try to slide them around to reposition, the soft rubber feet can peel away from their screws - it's trivially fixed with a screwdriver and no damage - but it's slightly annoying. On the other hand, they *really* stay put!

Helio, did you fix this?
My ns3 is arrivng home next week but I have a couple of questions, is it posible with the pedal to change between songs in song mode? If possible, how does it work? Is it sequencial and change song after last program? Also, is it possible créate a song only with 2/3 programs instead of 5?
Thanks.

I use the Boss FS6 for rotor (also for harmonizer module) and the Moog EV3 (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1) for swell. I used the FC7 for years (since 1990), but got tired of the cords shorting out. The Moog has a plug for TRS cable.

Now that I'm back to being a "stand-up" player, I've retired the Yamaha FC7 and replaced it with a Boss FV-500L. I can really lean into it and not feel like I'm about to snap it in half. No attached cable is a bonus, as well.
