Problem with Piano EQ switch Stage 3 88 since OS 2.0
Problem with Piano EQ switch Stage 3 88 since OS 2.0
Hi!
I'm new to Nord keyboards and this forum. I recently purchased a NS3 88 and am still on the learning curve but so far very happy with my new board.
Since installing OS 2.0 I noticed the Piano EQ switch does not cycle through soft/mid/high as it did previously. Pressing the switch elicits either no or delayed response, then sometimes freezes completely. I re-downloaded and re-installed the OS 2.0 without any issues, but the problem persists. I have not installed the enhanced EP's yet.
Should I go back to OS 1.6 and see if the problem disappears?
Anyone experience this or have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Works as expected on my Nord Stage 3 Compact running 2.0. If it were me, I'd go back to an earlier version when it was working well, and see if the problem persists.
I think I have gear issues ....

Contact Nord tech support. Going back to pre-2.0 seems tricky for some people.

Thanks! I’ll try one or both suggestions above and let you know what happens.

It definitely is, so I documented what I had to do in my particular situation:23skidoo wrote:Contact Nord tech support. Going back to pre-2.0 seems tricky for some people.

DJKeys, thanks for the headsup. Since my keyboard is fairly new, I haven't loaded any samples and made only a couple of minor program edits. If reloading (again) the OS 2.0 doesn't work, could I try loading 1.6 then do a factory restore to see if this fixes the problem?

Problem solved thanks to Sweetwater's great return policy. Had a replacement in two days and everything is working great.
