I’m trying to use my Electro 5 in conjunction with a iPad ( using an excellent Mini Moog app!!)
I’ve connected a USB lead from the Electro 5 to the input to the iPad and it works fine - but it is still playing the output from the Electro together with the iPad.
What I want to do is to have a split on the Electro - and play maybe a brass sound on the left hand side of the keyboard AND I want the right hand of the split to play JUST the iPad - I’m sure it’s possible - can anyone help - thanks

You can do that, see Scenario 2 on the MIDI chapter of your NE5 manual

Seen that - doesn’t seem to help. It appears to be for midi rather than the USB output - the USB output seems to send on all the keyboard not on a defined split.

It has to work for MIDI over for USB as well, have you tried it and checked the settings? Try to set Global channel to off and use only the Channel Upper Split
