Hello,
I have the NP2, My question is how to split two or more different samples (nsmp) on the keyboard, example a brass on the left and another sound on the right, I suppose that I cannot put nsmp samples in the piano section is that right?

or maybe I neeed to upgrade to a different instrument?

You'd need a Stage 3 to do what you want (or a Stage 2/2EX). The only way to split two sample sounds on the NP2 would be to assemble your own single custom NSMP sound that has two sounds in it for above and below the split. But that's very limiting... you can't do things like have the sustain pedal or an effect affect one sound and not the other.
