Hi,can someone help me setting my Nord stage 2 ex with my Ipad Pro running ForScore. I would like to use the buttons on ForScore to do the program change on my keyboard. Please let me know. Thanks

ForScore has great documentation on their website. Basically you add a button on your page and embed midi program changes (on the corresponding channel of your Nord) You'll need to figure out how to get midi from your ipad onto your Nord, there are many midi interfaces out there.

Because I carry a Windows PC (and a wifi router) in my gigging rig, I use the rtpMIDI wifi midi driver to allow my ipad to see the local area network. My Nord Piano 2 is connected to my M-Audio ProFire 610 sound card via midi so that's how they make the connection. Your setup may vary. You can direct connect your ipad to the Nord with some kind of IOS midi cable/interface.

As a result I have a button for every song in ForScore, that sends program change to the Nord Piano and also uses Program Change to load the next song in Reaper (my DAW) - Reaper hosts all my VST plugins. Works great once configured, I had to do some script tinkering in Reaper to configure it.

I use Onsong (IOS only unfortunately for you) for sevaral years now with 3 bands and i'm very happy with it.
It supports telepromting lyrics, autoscroll, mp3 playback, setlists, post-it memo's etc.
Definately worth looking at..

The stand for my iPad is the Konig & Meyer 19798 tablet stand.

I'm using Guitartapp Pro which can synchronize between Android, IPad and Windows! No sheets but chordbased. Free for Android and Windows. Unfortunately no Midi support yet.

if you use a windows tablet or pc, this is my favourite app. You can find it in the Microsoft Store. Great Programme.

You might want to consider the iPad even given the added expense because with the lack of an alphanumeric keyboard on the Nord, you can program MIDI bank and patch change info into your apps and call up the perfect sound for every song instantly. With the newest iPads hitting the market you might be able to score a deal on a serviceable older model.

I've been in the iPad world for a while now and love it. Recommend the largest size if you're reading a lot of commercial sheet music as it is hard to see otherwise. I use ForScore for "classical" and piano gigs but prefer Set List Maker for pop/cover bands because of its enhanced MIDI potential.

Unfortunately I don't think anyone makes a stand/holder for the largest iPad but I just use a regular music stand, works fine.

The one drawback: tablets aren't great on outdoor gigs in direct sunlight. Hard to see and can overheat.

The Konig & Meyer tablet pc stand holder (18790) which i own can hold an iPad pro without any problems..
