Split Lo to Extension Board

I'm having trouble connecting a Roland via mid as an external keyboard to the lo split to do a dual organ or just assign a piano to it. I followed the manual but there seems to be a snag there somewhere any thoughts?

Hi,
Check your Midi Channel for external keyboards in your system settings. Also check if your nord is sset to receive midi mmessage s.
